How do you make an app stop crashing?
Force reboot your device to make an app stop crashing. (On iPhone, iPad)
- Press and hold the Home and Power buttons
- Ignore the slide that appears to turn off the device, and continue holding both the buttons
- The device will then go blank and reboot when the Apple logo appears on the screen
For an Android device you need to follow the steps below
- Go to settings and tap on “Apps/App Manager/Manage Apps”
- Tap on the app that keeps crashing or freezing
- Tap “Clear Cache”
- Tap “Force Stop”
- Return to the Home Screen and launch the app again
